Should be a good race and a good betting race! Lots of legitimate contenders at good prices.

I need to wait to look at the PPs before I make official picks, but I'll bet Trappe Shot will end up as the favorite by race time, so I'll probably stay away and look for value elsewhere.

I like A Little Warm to repeat his strong performance in The Jim Dandy.

trappe should win but if you are looking for a price i would take a very, very hard look at miner's reserve.

there is no doubt in my mind that nick zito used last race as a springboard for this one and i assure you he will at the very least, finish in the tri

So far the Bloodhorse poll shows 6 times as many votes for Admiral Alex as for Miners Reserve

If Miners Reserve is anywhere near 10-1, I'll be all over that.

I'm pretty intrigued about Admiral Alex, though. A lot of people are buying the hype on him. Desormeaux said he'll be 'very disappointed' if he doesn't win...

A Little Warm is my pick! Of course, I'm slightly biased since my mare is in foal to Stormin Fever!

I like A Little Warm too, but that's because my friend Tony Dutrow trains him.

Hi Mighty,
Blue is actually from Maryland....he's in his upper 70's now and was always outspoken. He loved to win a bet too and wasn't shy about telling everyone he saw when he thought he had a good one. That being said, this horse needs to step up his game big time....but Blue is no one to take lightly. He may have given this horse more than he can handle at this stage of 'his' game, but this old man has been around good horses in his career.....and I'll keep an eye out for him if he's double digits. Looks like the race should be a repeat of the Jim Dandy.....A Little Warm amd Miner's Reserve, with Super Saver, Afleet Express and Fly Down under for the exacta. TJ

I like Trappe Shot, but he'll probably end up the favorite, so I'll stay away.

I think I'll end up going with some combination of Miner's Reserve - First Dude - A Little Warm - Fly Down, depending what the final odds are looking like.

Hi Ruff,
This will be one interesting race.....pretty evenly matched with a lot of question marks, I mentiond a bunch of horses and the more I look....the more I can see a reason for other's:>) I read an interesting article about Evan's, the owner of A Little Warm....Tony Dutrow said Evan's pushed him into going long with A Little Warm and so far it's paid off. I guess the son of Pleasant Colony's owner shoud know about distance horses:>) TJ
