Malibu Moonshine

Does anybody know what happened to him? He was eased, then vanned off August 30 per his info section. Some sort of breakdown. Is he still with us?

I asked Country Life if they knew anything, but they didn't. The chart says the jock walked him across the finish line so I'm guessing bowed tendon or something not hugely serious.

Thanks, yeah I hope he's okay. I was concerned it might be the kind of injury that is worse than it seems initially, or something that leads to laminitis, heaven forbid.

I can't find any update on Malibu Moonshine at all. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad sign... Has anyone heard anything?

I have not heard anything but was there that day< He was just completely outclassed. He crossed the finsihline, the jock turned him and went back up the stretch where he was hosed down. He was vanned off but it just may have been the heat. He was way over his head that day. Might be time to retire the old boy.

That's very good information. If he was hosed off, maybe it was just heatstroke. That would explain why the jock walked him across the finish line. I'll put him in my Stable Mail.

I saw that his record is already changed, but I know not everybody's going to look there. Turns out he's ok. Great news. :D Anybody up in that area of NY can go say hi.
