No bids yet on: Rockport Harbor, Offlee Wild, Cowboy Cal, Bright Launch (sire of the 2010 ITBOA Futurity winner Launch Light Lady), Plan, Kipling, Kitalpha, Elite Squadron, Magna Graduate, Nobiz Like Showbiz, Repriced, Run Away and Hide, Sun King, The Cliff's Edge, Kela, Evansville Slew, Lucky Lionel, Omega Code, Noonmark, Read The Footnotes, and most of the stallions from Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana and more. Take a look at our auction now and get a great deal on a stallion season! Go to www.thoroughlybred.com ; get registered; and get bidding! Did you know that if you are the winning bidder/breeder of the winner of the ITBOA Stallion Futurity or the ITBOA Stallion Stakes that you can get an extra $5,000? Last year's races were both won by Iowa-breds and had no outside state competition even though the race is open to foals dropped in any state. You DO NOT have to be an Iowa bred to run in the ITBOA Stallion Futurity or the ITBOA Stallion Stakes you just have to be the progeny of one of the stallion season's sold in this auction! Easy black-type opportunity and an great chance to get an extra $5,000-$10,000 by being the winning bidder/breeder of the winner of those races! Get your bids in now as bidding closes on Saturday, December 11th!

*AARGH twists hands in deep anguish * The auction is not organized - you have to read each listing to know where that stallion stands. Sigh.

I wish it could be sorted by state.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

Yes, I know...maybe when I design my own auction website I will have it that way! There are still a ton of bargains to be had, Madelyn! We have over 150 stallion seasons available from over 20 states. I truly feel this is the best State stallion season auction going! We don't have the stallion power that the TCA Auction gets but I would match our auction up against any other state. There are still lots of seasons with no bids so the regional breeders should wake up and get their great deal here! There are still plenty of stallions from Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, New Mexico, etc without any bids! And for the breeders in Illinois, Iowa and Indiana they have to think about the opportunities being created right now with the "I's Have It" racing series that is coming to fruition. This all amounts to more black-type opportunites for the breeders! Why do I love the ITBOA Stallion Season Auction so much? Because the ITBOA Stallion Futurity and the ITBOA Stallion Stakes both had purses for over $90,000 last year and is such a hidden gem for the breeders in the Midwest. So, once again, go to www.thoroughlybred.com right now and get your great deal on a stallion season while making the progeny of the stallion sold at our acution eligible for the two black-type races regardless of where they foal! In these trying times for owners and breeders there are still some great opportunites to cut costs while increasing your chance at a nice return! Remember, the auction ends Saturday, December 11th so make your bids now!

Excellent! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully there is a stallion on there that trips your trigger and you bid in our stallion season auction. Other than the TCA Auction I don't think there is a better Stallion Season Auction in the nation!

Congratulations to the ITBOA and all of the bidders for helping make this year's stallion season auction the best ever as we have raised nearly $100,000 so far! All of this money will go towards the purses for the ITBOA Stallion Futurity and the ITBOA Stallion Stakes! Both races will be black-type races and the progeny of all of the stallions sold in our auction can remain eligible.

www.thoroughlybred.com

We have started a "second chance" auction for those interested in bidding on seasons that weren't originally sold in our auction. This is still a great chance to pick up a stallion season at an affordable price! Some of the stallions included in the "second chance" auction include: Magna Graduate, Sun King, Read The Footnotes, Noonmark, Omega Code, Bright Launch (sire of 2010 ITBOA Futurity winner and probable champion two-year old Iowa-bred filly Launch Light Lady), Teton Forest, Demidoff, Slice of Reality, Northern Spur, Liberatedbyforce, Skip to the Stone, Ruler's Court, Alajwad, Pure Precision, Capitano, Ghazi, Birdistheword, Cat Dreams, and many more! Bidding starts as low as $500 so give it another look! www.thoroughlybred.com

Thanks again to everyone involved in the record-breaking auction and thanks to everyone on here for putting up with my pedigreequery posts! I am very passionate about this auction!

Two stallion seasons offered (and sold) in the ITBOA Stallion Season Auction were never paid for: Offlee Wild and Niagara Causeway. If you are interested in either please go to www.thoroughlybred.com to bid. Offlee Wild is being offered with an opening bid of $4,000 while Niagara Causeway can be had for as low as $500. Proceeds from the auction go to help pay for the ITBOA Stallion Futurity and the ITBOA Stallion Stakes, both of which had purses over $90,000 in 2010. Progeny of all stallions whose seasons sold in this auction can become eligible for the 2014 ITBOA Stallion Futurity and the 2015 ITBOA Stallion Stakes regardless of the state foaled. Our auction set a record this year with over $100k in seasons sold so the purses of the Futurity and the Stallion Stakes could be enormous! Go bid now!

We are still looking to get a bidder on Offlee Wild in the ITBOA Stallion Season Auction. This season was originally purchased but never paid for so we have placed it back up for bidding at: www.thoroughlybred.com. Opening bid is $4,000 and there are only 4 more days to bid. Proceeds from our record-breaking auction go to help fund the ITBOA Futurity and the ITBOA Stallion Stakes. Remember, you do not have to foal in Iowa to remain eligible for these races and the purses will be nice (both over $90k last year). So bid now!
