Thanks! I guess I am getting a little ahead of the game.

When are the first foals Due? I think Reedhill had a few early Ones?

Hello,

Yes, we have our first foal due 2-23 (Twentyfour Kt Gold X Jive Cat http://www.pedigreequery.com/jive+cat )

Second foal due 2-28 (Allamystique X Evolutionary Lady http://www.pedigreequery.com/evolutionary+lady )

Our third due was to a mare (Her Kiss http://www.pedigreequery.com/her+kiss ) which slipped her foal unfortunately, she not only had a great sire but a dam who won nicely as well.

Our biggest March yet will be this year with 9 foals expected, and 21 total for 2011.

Our first foal due 2-23 (Twentyfour Kt Gold X Jive Cat http://www.pedigreequery.com/jive+cat ) was a big Palomino filly with a star and two 1/2 stockings.
Unfortunately Jive Cat had her a little early and she did not make it out of the sac. This was Cat's first foal, she was beautiful, we will sure miss having this flly! :(

I'm very sorry to hear that...unfortunately the same thing happened to me in 2009, it was a filly also. Really large (perhaps too big...) and chestnut, out of Gone in the Wind... I was planning to re-breed that mare with the same stallion again sometime, but he died this year so... that's a foal I'll never be able to get

But you have to keep on and think in the other babies coming !

Reedhill,

Very sorry to read about you losing that filly. May the Good Lord

Besides a small human family, the horses are my extended family, I remember seeing some of the small beautiful faces we have lost and wonder what could have been for them. Loosing a life before they have a chance to stretch out in a field or lay in the warm sun........it's tough these horse families are.

I am so sorry! It is not easy to lose one, no matter when. I lost one last year, bay filly, lots of chrome. Same thing. Born just a smidge early. Big hugs to you!!!!!!!!
