Honoured but big responsibility!

Postby Truly » Fri Feb 11, 2011 5:19 pm

I've got 4 mares in to foal down from the racing stable that trains my Crinkle aka Aurumba.
My horses are priceless to me and all get the same care no matter what price tag they hold but these mares are carrying foals whose sires stud fees are up to £10k YIKES!
I'm in for sleepless nights lol
I won't name them but one is infoal to Bahamian Bounty, she is by Irish River ex a Stormbird mare, next one is infoal to Archipenko, she is by Inchinor ex a Danehill mare, next mare is infoal to Lucky Story, she is by Tagula ex a Bedale Flutter mare and the last is infoal to My Boy Charlie, she is by Meadowlake ex a Irish River mare.
The last one I am keeping and will cover her with Electrum :)
First mare is due on 20th Feb and my own Samba Beat is due on the 25th Feb....wish me luck please :)

Thanks guys :)

I'll definitely take pics but will have get my daughters bf to put them online.
I've only got my phone and it's a nightmare !
I hope the weather gets better.....they stayed in today as it poured down....it's horrid clay here and is soooo muddy.

I ordered some foal saver blankets from the US....they are lovely blankets and at least they are here if I need to use them :)

Dottie had a beautiful tall bay filly by Lucky Story this morning at 4.30am
She's a cutie pie!
I have taken photo's on my phone so will try to get them on here.
Lucky Story died just after he covered Dottie, he was a full brother to Dr Fong.
I'm shattered as no sleep for 48 hours.....just hope Sammy waits a few more days lol
