She's in Ocala with trainer/owner Charles Simon being broken and then to be readied for racing at Parx Racing later this year.

Hi Winds,
Was this one you bred? She's got a lot of sense and looks real good, best of luck with her. Is this the same Chuck Simon that was with Allen Jerkens? I've been wondering where he ended up as I haven't seen him down here for some time? Once again all the best to you and Beverly. TJ

TJ - Yes, on both counts. She's the one we bred and we are proud of her. Chuck does a great job, but then again coming from Allen Jerkens you knew he would.

Thank you for your kind comments about the filly.

What the heck is she doing without a helmet on? I don't even let my rider's tack them up without a helmet on. Good lord, that is a workman's comp nightmare! I could easily see them denying a claim due to extreme negligence. Glad your horse is smart Wind.

Hi Winds,
You should be proud of her and I'm glad to hear it's him....he can train a race horse that's for sure. I'm glad she ended up in good hands for your sake. Is Chuck at a training center or is this his place? TJ

I believe it's a training center.

What a robust intelligent cutie Winds!! So happy to see that they do both sides of the horse bc every horse I ever met always seemed to have 2 sides lol!! can't wait to follow her progress.
trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while. :)

Right I am in an awful state after watching that video, it was like horse porn.
That girl can climb on my back and rub my belly anytime, where do I go to get broken?
I have to say a little creeped out by the deliverance style music in the video was expecting the sound of squelling pigs at any moment.

All joking aside I hope things go well for your horse Winds, you seem one of the nicest people on here.

I want to thank you all for the kind words regarding Beverly's Spirit and her training. We are so proud of her and miss her so much. She's such a sweetie. But we know she is in great hands with Chuck. I will keep you posted as to how she is doing as I'm told.

Cantering in the round pen???!!! Some university did a study some years ago with a group of young horses. Half were cantered on the lunge and the other half weren't. Guess which group had leg injuries?
