Jorge:
The article states he was born March 27, 1950, near Lexington KY. Are you questioning that or looking for an actual hour of birth for some astrological mumbo jumbo reason?

Exact date!
The official generic (?) date of January 1, 1950 doesn't seem to be the exact date on a horse that allegedly was foaled a month late, as history seems to recall. But before taking side with the article, be aware that Native Dancer was not a descendant of The Tetrarch as the article inaccurately seems to suggest. In spite of that, the March 27 date of the article seems to be the correct date because there seems to be a (controvertible) presumption of correctness in providing such a specific date. Anyway, if there is an error somewhere, it deserves correction.

I take your point about The Tetrarch.
I suggest you address your concerns to the Jockey Club: [email protected]
Other than AG VAnderbilt's son, also named AG Vanderbilt, John Sparkman is the most knowledgeable I know about Native Dancer: [email protected]

I don't know if there is an error that can be attributed to one entity
or to the other. All I can express is that there are two quite different
internet sources showing two different dates of birth on the same horse.
But since the horse is not any horse, but one of the greatest horse of all times I would like to know if there exists additional factual information clarifying this issue.
