Okay, explain to me how this is legal. How can you tell a man who owns a racetrack, that he can't run the races at the track he owns, on a network that he owns half of and that he has to run his races, on a network he does not own that is his direct competitors, all the while, they do not share exclusive content with his track?

i am very peeved reading this, one i'm "pro hrtv" but more importantly i have to go the entire year without socal on hrtv, because TVG has exclusive rights

I get both HRTV and TVG via DISH Network. I want to replace Dish with Comcast but they do not carry HRTV and from the article it appears HRTV does have limited coverage. That's too bad because I prefer HRTV over TVG. I can understand the CHRB wanting better exposure for Santa Anita. But if the board's intent is to promote the greatest amount of television exposure then they should open racing coverage to all networks and eliminate exclusivity.

Just maybe he shouldn't have sold the exclusive rights to start with. Now he wants to have his cake and eat it too.

Yeah I heard some areas of the country get HRTV with Comcast but my region is not carrying it unfortunately.
