PZ: Cheetah is not a choice. Leopard is the only choice.
Unlike "true" big cats, the cheetah can purr as it inhales, but cannot roar. By contrast, the big cats can roar but cannot purr, except while exhaling. The cheetah is still considered by some to be the smallest of the big cats. While it is often mistaken for the leopard, the cheetah does have distinguishing features, such as the aforementioned long "tear-streak" lines that run from the corners of its eyes to its mouth, and spots that are not "rosettes". The thinner body frame of the cheetah is also very different from that of the leopard.

I thought you might enjoy knowing the difference. It's all in the genes.
Hot pink would look nice with your overalls. If you wait another year, maybe the Hoodie Footie will come out in Cheetah. It will be a sleaker look, I'm sure and will make breathing easier while mucking stalls. You will definitely be able to purr. Sticking with the Leopard look, you will be able roar. I'm hearing that the Hoodie Footie "biker look" is a possibility. With the biker look, they are going to have to figure out the aerodynamics or a few riders in their eye catching black simulated leather Hoodie Footies are going to experience what it is like to fly an ultra-light.
For the horse person, the black simualted leather "biker" Hoodie Footie can also be used as the Zorro look. Excellent attire for parades and Mexican War re-enactments.

I want cat ears and cat tail attached to mine.

Alas....
Thank you for the big cat tutorial. We have big kitties out here. Cougars. I don't know if they purr, but they have an impressive roar. Actually, it's more of a blood-curdling, heart-stopping, sheer terror-inducing scream

PZ: We've got both Bob Cats and what is often referred to as "mountain lions" here in the Blue Ridge." Hadn't really thought too much about the differences until you brought up the Cheetah look. With got Black Bears and Cayote also, but to be perfectly honest, I'm more afraid of being shot by some drunken camonflaged deer hunter than being attacked by any creature of the wild.
If you wore the Leopard Hoodie Footie with optional tail and ears, you could roar and scare all those cougars back into NM and OK. As for me, I'm saving up for Keflar Vest.

We have the bobcats & coyotes too. No black bear, tho.
In general I'd agree with your assessment of the relative dangers, however, (1)I'm on a cattle ranch (rolling plains and canyonlands) the vast majority of which isn't hunted and (2)the record wildfire year (two of the biggest fires came within a few miles of us) has forced a lot of wildlife out of their original territory, and for these reasons (3)we're seriously over-populated with mule and whitetail deer right now and, apparently, their predators too.
It's not unusual to see mt. lion tracks here, to hear them vocalize once in a while, and maybe catch sight of one every few years. This year we've had three sightings in the last 3 mos.
In September I saw, from no more than 100 ft., a huge mountain lion (aka: cougar, puma, catamount, et al.) run down and kill an adult deer. The power, speed, agility, and relative silence with which it did this inspired fresh fear and respect, not to mention the fervent determination to avoid being regarded as prey by a big cat. This happened within a mile of the houses & barns, i.e. where people, horses, dogs, house & barn cats, etc. hang out. Until then I'd never even seen tracks that close.
One of my sons rode up on a smaller one watering at a dirt stock tank in October. A couple of weeks ago my brother-in-law ran across one somewhere. Could have been the same one my son saw. And we've found evidence of other deer kills that couldn't be attributed to anything other than a large cat.

As long as the mt. lions stick to a diet of deer they're welcome to settle down & stay a while. I'd like to stay off the menu. Dressing up in the leopard hoodie footie with ears & tail doesn't strike me as the best way to do that.
Coyotes are inside the city limits of Cincinnati, as are large numbers of deer. So far, black bears are only rumors inside the county.

This is not Detroit. The city is still in decent shape--in fact, the parks are kept up better than they were 50 years ago, new houses are still being built inside the city limits. My high school --a public college prep high school-- is so good that it accepts students from outside the city on a tuition basis.
We do have a lot of parks and a lot of woods. There is plenty of cover for deer, and streams for water.
A woodchuck (or something that digs big tunnels) is living under my front porch, possums are not unusual, raccoon babies have looked into my 2nd floor windows at night, and deer hang out in broad daylight. They eat my front yard flowers.

Detroit is going feral.
Some of the scariest places here during the 1960s riots have been gentrified.
Now, if only we could rid ourselves of the goofy mayor and his wretched streetcar to nowhere project...(opposed by everyone from local right wing talk to radio to the NAACP~~which should tell you just how bad an idea the streetcar is...)
