APR on News Boy

A friend of mine just adopted a gelding named News Boy. Does anyone have any info. Please :?:

How old is your friend's horse? And are you certain about the spelling? The APR shows two horses named 'Newsboy' - one foaled in '88, and another in '00.

The only US-bred 'News Boy' I found was foaled in 1978, he'd be quite old now if he's still around. :wink:

It is the '00 I guess I was spelling it wrong.

He's in the database, but I'm sure you know that by now! :wink:

Hope your friend has good luck with him....I see Irish Ruler sired his second dam, one the nicest horses I ever rode was an Irish Ruler mare. She wasn't much of a racer, but could do just about everything else! If that athleticism carries on, this guy could be a lot of fun to ride. :)
