Thank you Winds. Very appropriate that 1st. Graded Stakes winner for Alex's Pal is CC's Pal. She's more than earned it & now deserves a little rest. This is only the beginning for the big guy !!!

Hey TJ ; thank you ! Alex has some very nice babies in the pipeline and he's just such a gentleman to be around. He's gonna be alright !

Yes very well done,he could be a "sleeper" and do very well in the Jersey circuit. Certainly a beautiful horse from his PQ photo.

Thanks so much wilf. That photo, to be honest, is pretty old & I really need to do something about that. He's a vastly better looking guy than that now.

MikeC - You already know that I like Alex's Pal quite a bit as a stallion. CONGRATULATIONS on this accomplishment by his lead winning get. Glad to see he's going to get the attention he deserves with this great accomplishment by CC's Pal. It's only the beginning I'm sure as interest in this stallion picks up.

Thank you jellac ; that's very kind. He has been very well received in New Jersey. I need to do a bit of research to see when the last time was that a N. J. stallion had a Graded Stakes winner ... homework for next week. Getting ready to head over to Monmouth to watch what may very well be my next stallion take on open company allowance horses for the 1st. time. Very tough spot coming off a 9 mo. layoff, outside post and a very, very competitive field. Fingers crossed for our homebred VOODOO CHARM !

That's fantastic Mike. Pulled up his pedigree and so neat to see Lucky Debonair in their twice. He was one of the first Derby winners I saw run. Still remember his pedigree..Vertex out of Fresh As Fresh by Count Fleet. Keep them coming...

Thanks Zinn21 & ZiaLand ; I'm workin' on it. Very pleased with the outcome of Voodoo Charm's race today too off a 9 mo. layoff and 1st. time in open company. We got a flat tire driving to the track & Voodoo threw his left rear shoe, yep another flat tire, turning for home. The wheels were spinnin' but he wasn't going anywhere. Only finished a length & 1/2 back for all the marbles, a neck shy for third, despite it all. I think I got a good one !!
