Hard Spun

Looks like he is headed for a successful stud career. His Questing won the CC American Oaks yesterday. The Hard Spun's I've seen here in NorCal all have a touch of class and speed.

He also is the sire of the 2nd place finisher, Zo Impressive, he is doing very well with his first two crops to race. He should only get better with time.

Good article on the re-ascendancy of Danzig in yesterday's TDN.

Cool. Anyone interested in a mare in foal to Belong to Me?? I have an old stakes producer that is a boarder and the time has run out and her bills are not paid..

I liked a filly by Hard Spun in the 7th today at Parx. I could not believe Tammaro was able to claim this filly for 10K. I go to make the bet and I can't believe her odds with may be 10 mins to post. Seaside Magic did her magic to the tune of 17-1, it takes a long time for a horse I like to go off at those odds. Happy day, 10K, unbelievable.

I was going to post about her before I left to make my bet but I ran out of time, and I hate to toot my own horn after the fact, but since it is the Hard Spun thread I posted it. She scared the hell out of me early on but once she got rolling it was just a matter of how much she would win by.
