What a great steeplechaser. Does anyone have a picture of him? Thanks.

Cheryl, I have a lovely race video of Toughkenamon interfering with our horse Danesfort in the stretch at Colonial, while he was still racing on the flat. Kept Daney from winning, dang it.
Two big greys battling it out.
They were both supposed to run yesterday at Winterthur, DE in a 2 mile flat heat, but Daney had to scratch because of a, surprise, HOOF ABCESS that popped Saturday. This poor horse has the world's worst feet. It's what forced us to semi-retire him two years ago. Toughkenamon scratched because his trainer said the course was a bit too firm.

Hi. That is so cool. I was watching the races on tv last week and saw the steeplechase that he won. I thought he looks so much like my gray, Virtual G. Then when he won, they announced that his sire was Maria's Mon, I couldn't believe it.

His trainer, Katherine McKenna, rides him frequently in these hunt meets.
He's a starchy grey. I watched her try to saddle him once, and it was no small feat.
