Strait of Dover gone

Strait of Dover, the '12 Queen's Plate winner, was euthanized yesterday after surgery to repair a twisted large colon. A real shame, he was just coming into his own last year when he won the Queen's Plate easily, but was injured and off the shelf for a year. On the comeback early this year, he injured himself again. Then the colic got him. RIP SOD, you were a wonder horse.

wow that is horrible, that horse had talent and my heartfelt condolences to his connections, and mostly for the horse I am so sad his life was cut short. RIP Strait of dover.
