A terrible head on collision this morning at Belmont Park, took the lives of both Caixa Eletronica and Six Drivers. Caixa Eletronica, http://www.equibase.com/profiles/Result ... registry=T was an east coast favorite who ran in stakes in his last two starts of 2013 as an 8YO, he will be missed. TJ

Did not see/hear this news of the deadly collision between Caixa Electronica and Six Drivers until this morning's paper in Houston. I always enjoyed watching and cheering on Caixa Electronica, a very game race horse who seemed to fairly regularly rise to the occaision and give it his best effort, (making it hard to leave him out at the window
)
Very sad to even imagine ["visualize'] such an horrific event. A huge loss to all connections -my condolences to owners, breeders/fans and best wishes for the jockeys' recovery. (And to Jorge if in truth Arromanches is dead

I was shocked and saddened by this news. A hard knocking horse who certainly deserved a better fate.
And unfortunately, it does seem that Arromanches did pass away last August. (http://www.drf.com/news/indiana-sire-ar ... ies-age-20)
