Midnight Lute and Bob Baffert finish 1 - 2

Midnight Lute and Bob Baffert had a 1 - 2 finish today at the G2 Strub Stakes at Santa Anita, Shakin It Up finishing first and Govner Charlie finishing 2nd.

I like this horse. He looked very powerful down that stretch. Can't wait for more!

Even more remarkable the Midnight Lute colts are 3/4 brothers, their dams are 1/2 sisters, both being daughters of Silverbulletday!

Yes we do, Madelyn. A very large bay filly. She looks a lot like him. The dam is pretty close to 17h and of course, Lute is maybe a little over 17.
