Vestal Heights is entered again

Vestal Heights is entered again next saturday, for the one and only reason she is peak fit and starts to be making problems keeping her in one piece. Behaving like a ping pong ball, gooiing up and down with four feets together in one time. Jumping at the same place.
Otherwise she is in the need for natural calmer products.
She is entered in an mile and three eights down level handicap race in Germany. Just 40 miles from the trainers place. The track is an 9 furlong
rectangel track, with four ,quarter, benches and at the short sides an furlong between each two. Righthanded equal level. Home strech 3 furlong.
Could be a nice one to have a look downthere.

I,ve taken a day of. So we,re gooiing to see her. My wife, our kids, a boy and a girl,and a brother of mine. We will be back at midnight.
The weather is showered, and once and a while a drop of rain.

She finished sixth from thirtheen at 6 lenghts from the winner.
Ran at fourth place throughout the race until the homestrech, at that point her jock decided to use the whip, guite often instead of riding her hands and heals so she tried to get away from the whip.
As it was the trainers stable jock, we took the decision this was his last ride on her. She is as genuine as there are, and she does not deserves this behaviour from a jock. She came out very well, and a very good point
to the filly, she likes the kids and the wife in front of the race and afterwards. Looking extremely well. Stupid me have not made a pic from her.

That's too bad. We had a bad ride... or maybe I should call it a non-ride... from a jockey last week on a mare of ours. It was all I could do not to go choke the little jerk after the race. He stood up on her twice and HAULED back on her both times, to the point that I thought she was hurt and he was pulling her up. This was on the backstretch with no horses in her way, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and it took her to last place. Then he took her about 6 wide (for the entire mile race, even though there was nobody between her and the rail.) He didn't even attempt to put her into the race until the stretch, and when asked she did fire and pass a few, but at that point it was too late.

I've been watching this jock since then, he's done the same thing several times (a few days ago to the even money favorite who really wanted to run, and I thought the trainer was going to kill him after the race!) It amazes me that some jocks continue to get mounts... they can really ruin a horse sometimes.

Anyway, put him on your "do not ride" list and look ahead for a better trip next time.
