Has anyone seen this horse in person and know if he is correct? I really like his pic, he was sure a runner and he's got a really nice family. Distant View isn't known of a sire of sires, tho. What kind of mares does he need?

I saw him last fall and I loved him! Did not see any glaring faults. He has a very large forearm and gaskin, like a quarter horse. He has sprinter written all over him. From what I saw of the foals, he is putting that muscle on them. Ask Crestwood for his racing video. They told me they are looking for mares with Victoriania blood to cross on him. Body wise, I sure wouldn't want to breed a sprinter type unless you were looking for something to compete with QH's.

A nice horse to be sure, but look at his pasterns again...

roving boy,
What about them? Which way do they turn and how bad is the deviation?

A bit long and soft in the pasterns - a fault that most American buyers are very hard on. The Europeans are not as particular (grass). I do not recall any significant deviation, although he may toe out a little in both front, which would not worry me.
