Messed up boy

Postby Monka » Sun Oct 17, 2004 1:48 pm

I recently got an exracer who's registered name is "messed up boy". He is 18 years old and apparantly raced in California for 6 or so years and then for a short time in British Columbia from what we know. He is a dark brown 16.1 hands gelding.
I can't seem to find a tattoo on his lips though and never received his papers. I did some online searches but never got any results. Any help on his pedigree and record would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

I'm not finding any 'Messed Up Boy's....the closest I found was a 'Mixed Up Boy', who would be fourteen years old now. That horse was bred in California, but the APR only shows him having raced four years. It all sounds a little off what you're looking for...but I added him to the database anyway, in case you want to take a peek.

Maybe someone else here will come up with a closer match. :) Good luck!

Thank you sooooo much Lucy, for checking into this!!! I got his registered name wrong, it's mixed up boy, you were right. I thought he was 18 but 14 sounds even better. He sure doesn't act like he's 18, lol
His former owner was told that he raced in California and BC for 6 years, but it's possible that he only raced down South for 4 years. Sounds like you found my boy for me!
Thank you so much again. I will check out the record on mixed up boy now. I appreciate your help in this!!!

Glad that worked out OK! :)

As for his racing record, the APR does include Canadian races, so the number of starts and suchlike should be accurate. If you're interested in more details, you can probably still purchase lifetime charts for him at sites like equineline and brisnet. Good luck!
