HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Postby louis finochio » Thu Oct 14, 2004 1:31 pm

Lets all post the date of our birthday's under our name on the profile form.
It could read like this April 23 forget the year as all the filly's on board would be coming in season 4 months early. LOL

Louis are you implying that one of us good natured mares would swat you in the face, step on your foot and then kick you if you demanded our birth years? I think choosing a new year would be more fun
I think this is an excellent idea and perfect timing, Sam's turning 30 any moment now.

There is a birthday mod available for phpBB 2. It not only records/displays each member's DOB, it also announces birthdays on the front page.

Now you just have to talk someone into installing it for you. :P

rolls up newspaper ... smacks "John" on the nose

BAD TROLL! Go back under your bridge.

And for the record, I am a Sagittarius, not a Libra.

Not exactly sure what a "Libera" is ... Is that the astrological sign of gay, sequined piano players?

Far as most of my relatives are concerned, if it doesn't include being chained to a desk, shifting papers with a telephone glued to your ear for 45 hours+ a week making $60k a year ... it's not a real job. Military seems to be the only exception.

:D Slug down a glass for me!! Does the barn come with willing teenage stall muckers? Nothing builds character like poo-filled wheelbarrows!

Will do... actually I have a farm hand who is a tiny bit like Texas, but in terms of the other evils, well he is okay if he stays away from whiskey, every now and again he needs to be reminded that he is not the owner of the farm, and they are not his horses, he must keep the sexist comments about the horse vet to himself, especially when she is here, etc., but my horses get watered and fed (medicated if they need it), stalls get clean, he is a pretty good cowboy at breaking and riding, tractor work, etc. etc. etc. Anyhow, farm help is really hard to find and he has lasted longer than anyone else so far! (Six weeks, a new world record).

Many congrats on both the upcoming milestone and the successful house sale. Can't say I care at all for the taste of champagne (too bitter for me), but it's certainly a good metaphor for you -- both just improve with every year!

SIX WEEKS?!? I was utterly miserable at my first job, and I was there a year! Here's what work for my female Dr.- if some obstinate old crab of a cow farmer makes a comment about her sex, she gives him the equipment to finish the job- and I have the option of assisting or letting him do all the work himself! 8) One time is all it takes!
