hi louis finochio
You wrote (re: Wild Fit and Fusaichi Rock Star) "When you have full siblings that perform like they have, its time to breed back to that well, as that bloodline affinity has more left in the tank."
I was thinking about that also. Why go anywhere else?
That "well" seems to be supplying quite the results.
Best to you louis.

hi Ill-bred
Sounds like the G1-Malibu's shaping up to be quite a race.
It'll be interesting to see how Fusaichi Rock Star performs...some horses turn in a BIG effort after a layoff.
Your info indicated that Shinji Fujita is named as FRS's rider. I wonder if FuRock's owner (Fusao Sekiguchi) brought jockey Fujita from Japan?
Another horse that could be interesting to watch (if he runs of course) is Wilko. I expect that seeing how he runs and responds in a 7-furlong G1 race should help define him. He's a very game racehorse, and I suggest it's probably not wise to ever ignore him. Will Nakatani try to keep Wilko relatively close to the pace or try to come from out of it? Arguably, I would not expect that a G1 race contested at 7-furlongs would allow much room for error or time to relax...especially if the speed doesn't back up. I look forward to seeing how Team Wilko attempts to handle this challenge.
Best to you.
