Although not a fan of him or his line, I'm glad he didn't go to Japan. I never understood why he stood anywhere outside of CA anyway.

He's going to stand for $3,000.

What type of mare will fit him best? Also what bloodlines will go well with him? And is $3,000 a good price?

I think he's fairly priced given what his sire and full brother stand for and given he's a fair bit less accomplished than Tiznow. I would assume he would work well with what has worked for Tiznow and would probably need a mare more moderate in size with some precocity.

I have not seen Tiznow in person, but I think in comparing his photos with what I've seen of Tizbud, Tizbud is a somewhat lighter, "turfier" type and might need a little more power behind in his mares than Tiznow. JMO.

hi guys

According to the Daily Racing Form...Tizbud is now the property of Pam Zeibarth...daughter of Cecilia Straub-Reubens, who campaigned Tiznow. If I recall correctly, Cecilia Straub-Reubens also owned Cee's Tizzy (sire of Tiznow, Tizbud etc).

Furthermore...Tizbud was apparently raised at Harris Farm (per farm owner John Harris) where he'll now stand at stud.

Sounds like a wonderful, almost storybook-like, new beginning for Tizbud.

Here he is many years ago at Harris Farm:

hi Sysonby

Thanks for the foal-photo flashback...fantastic...

...it supports my belief that Tizbud is now at a place where he'll be managed and cared for in a special way.

Tizbud...owner Zeibarth...and Harris Farms and staff...sounds like a magical reunion.
