While those horses (Lamtarra, Goldenn Fleece, etc.) may have had only a few starts, look more closely at what they won and how they won.....they deserved their chance at stud.
Not to say that I am running off to breed to Footsteps at $30,000 - but that is more because I do not believe his few performances quite measure up with those of the other horses mentioned.
