Porter's Brush

Postby Deartoall81 » Mon Dec 12, 2005 6:35 pm

In this book I have about horse racing in western Wisconsin; it's mentioned a horse named Porter's Brush was the first Thoroughbred on the fair circuit.
I'm curious about his pedigree, it sounds like he may have been from the sire line of (or by) The Porter. No info on him in the database though.

I'm not sure what timeframe you're looking for....but I found a 'Porters Brush' (no apostrophe), 1941 gelding by The Code - a son of The Porter - out of Blazon, by Jeg. If the dates match what's in your book, this is probably your guy. :)

He's in the database now. :D
