I don't know if this is the type of example you mean, but look at Personal Ensign's progeny:

Miner's Mark, by Mr. Prospector
Our Emblem, by Mr. Prospector
Proud And True, by Mr. Prospector
Traditionally, by Mr. Prospector (in New Zealand)

Yes, exactly, and I think it's a selective group, but not sure.

Here are two more that no one has mentioned:

A.P. Indy
Two Punch

That would apply to a lot of the AP Indy, Storm Cat, and Mr. P sons.

Not necessarily so, since the dam of the offspring may not be a graded stakes winner. Example:

Aptitude [A.P. Indy] is out of unraced Dokki, but JUMP START is positive for both dams having been graded stakes winners.

All offspring out of a non-graded stakes winning dam can't fit into this category.

An yes, IVESDROPPER is on top of this category, because both his dam and his sire's dam were Grade I stakes winner, the next categpy up.

Only if Unbridled's dam is a graded stakes winner, and, according to the notation in the Online Pedigree, Gana Facil, is not a graded stakes winner. Her race record is:
19-6-1-2 $85,100

Now where it gets a bit tricky is that races weren't always classified into Graded and regular stakes, but it could be sought out with the more modern runners.

I think, mares, and in particular reines-de-course, should be better classified as in graded stakes winners, stakes winners, unraced, etc.
Many of the reines-de-courses were unraced or practically unraced as, for example Somethingroyal. A reine-de-course which was a stakes winner and produced a stakes winner should be marked as such as this type is truly the elete and would help with breeding decisions-- to my mind.

Try naming stallions [or mares for that matter] whose sire's dam and their own dam were G-I stakes winners. Since there are many more graded stakes today, the number of winners should [have] increased, making it appear easier today, and the black type up close in the catalogue more 'appealing' to the buyers, but not the actual quality over former times runners.
May not be true., but that's the way I see it.

Hi SB,

I understood that you are looking for stallions whose dam is a graded winner and whose sire is out of a mare who is a graded winner. To clarify my earlier comment which it seems was misunderstood, I said "a lot", not "all", of the AP Indy, Storm Cat, and Mr. P sons would fit your criteria. It was offered as a suggestion of sire lines to investigate. :D

Ooops! Sorry... you are correct! I re-read the original question & had skipped over the "stallion whose dam is also a graded stakes winner" part...
