Well yes but..."you" didn't pay $8,000,000 for this colt, nor did anyone else on this BB, so all your expectations are immaterial. I'm sure he's being brought along to his owner's and his trainer's satisfaction.

Not only that but nobody here has the inside track to know why he hasn't started before this. I suppose if he had raced at 2, people would be complaining about rushing that valuable a colt to prove himself.

It's very easy to be an armchair quarterback when none of your own money is involved.

It's their hog and their corn(or in this case horse). I don't think anyone cares what they do... people are simply interested when an $8,000,000 yearling runs and the end result. An $8,000,000 yearling is always going to be a "conversation piece" with horseracing fans. While he ran a "good" race I believe most feel he failed to meet expectations.... but then expectations are hard to meet when you pay $8,000,000.

I agree with LSB, in horse racing you must have patience even if the horse is an $8 million yearling.
