Hi, Louis,
Do you know anything about Follow the Rainbow, who was leading on the backside when he broke down in El Roblar's win on Thursday? Baffert has him.
Thanks for your time and concern,
Wendy

Thanks for the information, Louis. I'm very sad. One of my favorites, too. I hate the feeling you have when one of your Thoroughbred "friends" breaks down and is euthanized. The only way I can reconcile myself is to know that at least they weren't transported from sale to sale, gradually going down the ladder until they are emaciated and end up terrified in the slaughter house.

As you get close to these TB and they become your friends, one feels down when they are called to go upstairs to horse heaven.
I admire them for their courage and fighting spirit, as they are true professionals in what they are bred for.
To all those TB that gave their best, thanks for the memories. Amen.
