Since this thread looks a little inactive, I thought I'd throw in that I bred my mare to Ascot Knight and got her best looking to date. Unfortunately she died in an accident as a weanling. Booked her back to AK and just got her back last week in foal. I mention this because the mating mirrors Pete's comments above (Kankakee Miss Female Family):

She has a nice Tethra filly at her side too. I think that AK at $3500CDN seems to be one of the better deals around in Ontario.
(He only bred 14 or 17 last year so I guess they are trying to kick start him again) He got my mare covered first time round this year.
