As everything will go as it does now, Mellanie Surprise might go out Sunday
the 2nd of April in a black type race. LR
The quality of an msw.
Track Koln (GER) ,distance 8 furlong, track turf.
A large wide hillary track one large bend to be made.
Finish uphill
For fillies 3 year old. Earnings 12 k for the first prize in a race or more 58 kg
Earning less than 12K for the first prize in a race 56kg.
It is gooiing to be a large step up in class for her, but there are not any
races for her up to the guiness in our homecountry.
As long as she holds her own, I would be thrilled.
Maybe her seasonal debut

The worst part was that we couldn't go because the whole family had flu last week. So we sat down before the (blessed) computer. When Mellanie entered the track she did was to unseat her jockey and we got nightmares of a wounded horse....but after she cantered a full circuit, she was caught and allowed to start when reunited with her jockey. She had to start on the far outside on a very very heavy ground, and believe me the German ground is heavy! She started last, but as soon as they reached the homestretch going up hill, she started to pick it up, quickened and at the finish she ended fourth. The speaker couldn't believe it, called her unbelievable! According to the jockey she raced as a green horse and our trainer was full of surprise, he didn't think she would run so well.
It seems to be that we have a nice racehorse with the classic season coming.
