The champ is back in all his glory. Smart move by his trainer to run him at Churchill so he can get a feel for the track, etc. Nice race from him today and I look forward to his campaign this year. I take it it's back to California, very little traveling this year.

Excellent. 1:08.52 Not shabby. I'm definitely crossing my fingers for the BC Sprint this year. I wonder if the 'stretching him out' thing is all blowing smoke or if that's for next year. Remember they wanna run him at 5. Aleo says it and I bet he'll try to do it...that's one crusty bird and God bless'em he just loves to race.

per DRF article:
"Gilchrist said Lost in the Fog would return to Golden Gate to regroup before his probable next start, the $500,000 Smile Sprint Handicap on the July 15 Summit of Speed program at Calder."

Fog was over the top when he ran in the BC Sprint last year. He was a travelin' horse in 2005 and it took its toll.
His first start this year you can toss...that was just to shake the cobwebs off.
If he can dominate in his division...perhaps we have our HOY. Granted it's too soon to say, but you never know....
