The highest GSV in the field belongs to Perfect Drift at 74.38, just short of what my maiden study in England showed to be highly significant, but these aren't maidens. The 2nd highest belongs to Love Of Money at 73.42.

In the field study that I did of our local small track, the profitable handicapping system would select Brass Hat, then Perfect Drift, then Love Of Money.

I'm going to put Perfect Drift and Brass Hat on top of Brass Hat, Perfect Drift and Love Of Money to the board for the Tri.

Nope. I've got no problem getting up in the tree and sawing off the limb I am sitting on. :D

Well, the longest shot won, with Perfect Drift second.

Results of the Stephen Foster:
Highest GSV, Perfect Drift, 2nd at 10.90/1
2nd Highest, Love Of Money, 8th
3rd Highest, West Virginia, 3rd
4th Highest, See Gold, 1st at 91.70

Three of the four highest GSV scores in the money and I don't cash the exacta, triactor or super. How dumb is that? I throw out Buzzard's Bay as he is a bad bet, bad odds, too many days w/o racing in a brilliant bit of logic and I still come up empty! Yikes!! All I walk away with is a lousy place ticket to Perfect Drift, who I key on top of everyone and looked that way until a split second before the finish line.

The GSV is a brilliant program, the guy who came up with it is brain dead.

Hope you guys did better.

George

Oh, George, don't beat yourself up. That's horseracing for you.

There are horses who simply defy logic, outrun their pedigree and win races. Statistical models can only be applied to living creatures in a general sense.

Not revelling in your misfortune but I do find it amusing when people have systems that actually look good but still can't get the money. Just shows us how there's still an exhilerating moment of unpredictability in so many areas of this sport.

PS. I'm still sorry you didn't get the cash though but nice work on the numbers.
