I've been trying to find Tramisol in Ontario and haven't been able to do so. Western NY - Buffalo area, is very close and just wondering if I might be able to buy it there. I deal with a company who would probably be able to order it for me if I could give him a heads up as to who the supplier is. So does anyone know if and where it is available?
Thanks!
Oh and if it is still around is it still available in the pellet form versus the capsules? Tks again!
Tramisol (Levamisole) - still available in the US?

levamisole
Special Effects,
What are you using the tramisol for? The crumbles can be bought fairly cheaply through most veterinary catalogues, i.e. Jefferson, Ontario, Midwest, etc. It is still used some as a cattle and sheep wormer by injection or given orally. It is not considered a good choice in wormer for horses because it causes neurological symptoms, especially excitation, in horses at a theraputic dose as an wormer. It has also been found to rapidly induce resistence in equine parasites. I have been trying to use it as an ancilliary treatment for EPM as it quiets the humoral response(IgG, IgA) and induces a cell mediated response(Killer T-cells, macrophages, neutraphils, etc.). Used in human USA medicine for colon cancer and in several other countries as a treatment for lyphoma and other immune and auto-immune diseases. Mary Syers
