Anyone have any opinions of him as a sire? Anyone got pics of his offspring?

Horse has lots of class on the top side and down. He was pretty fast himself and he has stamina on both sides as well. He provides the prospects of both. Nice combo....

Don't have any pictures to share, but I have an incredible colt by him! Very correct and except for the face mark, looks just like him! Very willing, trainable attitude. His dam is 3x3 to Vice Regent. His face mark is that of Northern Dancer. Wouldn't hesitate to breed back.

I have an exceptional weanling as well but have looked at alot of bad ones, (yearlings and weanlings) this year. He is dead commercially right now. I looked at some nice yearlings with good pages get no respect in the sales ring at the Midlantic sale. He has been a bit snake bit as a sire as he had/has two outstanding runners not live up to potential. Allie P. is as fast as they come. After working 6F in 1:09 flat she stopped badly in her second career start. Looked liked she flipped or bleed, although I have no insight.

I think he will steadily move up the list this year and next, but needs a big one to recover commercially. You can get to him this year at a real good price. I would only send mares that are very correct, especially in the hind limb. He does add plenty of leg and size to smaller sprinty type mares.

There's a Millennium Wind colt out of Manila Rose making his debut at Santa Anita in 20 minutes. Currently the 2/1 favorite.

Here's my MW weanling filly out of Vivid Dreams. She's a beauty and very correct. Vivid is a stout mare, also correct. Filly is Dreams on the Wind.

I bred to him twice with 2 different mares who are both correct up front. Had 2 fillies, both were crooked one was so crooked she was basically deformed. After 2 surgeries to try to have her live a normal life (forget about racing) she passed on. No Mas Millennium Winds for me!!!!

So sorry to hear about your misfortune..I know it can be so heartbreaking to see your dreams go up in smoke..it happened to me but it was a three year old who made it to the track but not to the races a month ago..I had to donate him to be retrained..he was my first baby

Henthorn, your baby is GORGEOUS! What are the temperments like? I got to look after a lovely Millenium Wind colt this year, just adored him. He is as correct as can be, and wonderful to be around. One of the sweetest colts I have ever seen. And massive too! Over 16.2hh as a 2yo. Where can I find a pic of teh stallion?
Thanks.

Go to Stallionregister.com and put in his name and you will get his pedigree and a pic I think.

Millennium Wind was a big colt when racing, and had chronic foot troubles, partly due to poor shoeing, with his feet too small for his large body. After he retired to stud, his feet were allowed to grow out, and no longer bothered him. He has a significant weight problem, despite regular exercise. His best pictures were right after going to stud, when his feet were too small and body was about right. Last time I saw him he looked like a middle-aged businessman :P . His temperament is good, and my filly is gentle, despite her wicked mama.

I've thought about sending my New York mare to him next year, but haven't decided yet. I think Spanish Guitar suits him, but he is not commercial.
