After breeding for 3 years to stallions whose foals I wanted to race myself..I now want to breed commercially.I have too many offsprings..

My mare (in foal to Freud. A++ nick), has been accepted to go to Champali in 2007(A nick)..has anyone seen his foals or have any idea how his offspring might do in the sales arena..I am looking for 3x the stud fee for a yearling..my mare's oldest is a 2 year old filly (C+ nick)currently in training at a facility, who has received favorable reviews since the day she was born..(I hope she has talent..lol)

What is your mare's pedigree, and how did you determine her A+++ nicks?

lol..I never said A+++

This nicking information is by Werk, which is used by most farms either on their web-sites or privately..

Mare (Pentelicus, Fappiano, Mr P),
Freud (Storm Cat)

Based on crossing Storm Cat line w/Fappiano line the nick is A++

With another stallion it's an A crossing Bold Ruler line w/Fappiano line

Hi Savana,

Don't put too much weight into Werk's. I look at them as well but buyers generally could care less. Champali probably will not be that commercial in 2009. Not a very fashionable sire line. Are you breeding for the NY Preffered? What is your mares name?

Marbles

The Freud '07 foal if male will go through the Timonium yearling sale '08..if foal is a female I will sell the Mare (open) and keep the filly..the foal will be a PA bred..I left her open last year to get a Feb foal in '07
