Got a mare by Boston Harbor and wondered what you guys think of her. Her name is Vanillazuela.

Oh how funny!
I saw her at Churchill Downs June 2005. She was trained by Dallas Stewart, right?

I dont think she won, but she was sure cute pouting over not getting her regular feed (or treats maybe) on race day. We were in the stable area. My friend and I noticed her and then loved the name.

Yes, Dallas used to train her

The shame is she really was a very nice horse, minus the soft tissue issues. Tough one to keep together. Real nice looking horse, real cool horse to be around, just not the soundest horse tendon wise. She was bandage bowed real bad, given time, brought her back and bowed out again. Just not fair to run her for lesser. She is very nice looking, and I think shell be a decent broodmare. I just wasnt sure what she would be worth.

She has some flashes of black type on her bottom side. She could be useful as a broodmare. Her sire was a nice horse, although is lost in the rice pattys.

Foggytrip: I have a Boston Harbor mare out of On the Tree Top (Anna K. is the mare) - she had a Birdstone colt this year (see his pics under foals) and from my point of view the colt is gorgeous :D Do not know if his looks and personality come from his dam's sire side or his dam's dam side  You might want to try and breed her to a less expensive stallion and see what you get if you aren't interested in selling her.
