Tough running...winner of 14 races, great broodmare, looking for a new home. She is sound for any discipline, has 2 fabulous foals at home. Need to downsize and have her and another mare available and open for 2007 breeding season.

Is it Applied Economics?
I couldn't find the name w/out the "d". If so, she was a nice mare, w/14 wins. Will pm if it is same mare.

Photo of Applied Economics (from what I recall after meeting her at the Northampton Fair in 2004, she's as sweet as she is pretty):

Well, this stinks. Now there are two mares in MA that I'd love to have. Why can't they be in Indiana???

ETA:
This is eating at me. What's the price on this mare?

She has been advertised for $2,000.00/bo and all offers would be considered as I am getting short on room. As I stated before, she is open for 2007...which is due to me retiring my stallion last November. She is a super broodmare, is sound for riding and has two fabulous foals (all this and 14 wins too!) I know there are a lot of mares out there...but she is very special.

Bayponys took some new photos of Applied Economics for the CANTER NE site that I just had to share. She is gorgeous...look at that face and expression! Adorable foal, as well:

I remember a bunch of the CANTER volunteers fawning over this mare nearly 3 years ago, while she was at Northampton. She was a sweetheart then, even at her "hottest" in race training. Any mare who looks like this, has that kind of demeanor, and retires sound after 101 starts is something special. I hope she finds an excellent home.

Oooh, I'll agree! :)

And an interesting spot on AE's neck... I'll have to draw attention to it in the General column, as someone just pointed out another horse with the same thing...

she has a couple of body spots on her. The filly is an absolutely spectacular mover and huge. She will make race or sport horses, as both this and last years foals are very correct and fancy.

Just a note....I have reduced asking price on this mare as well as my other broodmare Gold Tip. Both are open for 2007.

Just as a point of information, this is the 2nd or 3rd mare of this particular immediate family I've seen with white spots somewhere on their bodies. Folks wanting to breed for color in addition to the track should take note of this particular mare [the others I saw are no longer on the market!]
