He's a stallion isn't he? Wonder where he will go?

I like his stallion potential, any one know what farm he is going to? I would think he would be around $7500. Only 4 starts but 3 wins, this sire line is on the rise.

Anybody heard any more on this guy? He is not listed in the NY stallion register for 2007. I like his potential. One of the better ones to come to New York in my opinion, if he is here.

Didn't some horse related to him get bought recently for a lot of money? I swear I remember hearing his name as a family member which made me wonder what happened to him.

What a bummer! I was really looking forward to having a freshman stallion in NY that was worth breeding.

Although this one's not a freshman stallion you guys'll be getting Jade Hunter. Hope that helps ease the pain.

Grade 2 winner The Daddy to stand at Martin Stables South

Grade 2 winner The Daddy has been retired and will enter stud in 2007 at Eddie Martin's Martin Stables South in Reddick, Florida.

The Valid Expectations colt out of With a Princess, by With Approval, will stand for $5,000.

The Daddy earned three wins while making all four of his career starts in 2005. He capped off his three-year-old campaign with a neck win in the '05 Super Derby (G2) after finishing fourth to champion sprinter Lost in the Fog in the King's Bishop Stakes (G1).

The Daddy ran six furlongs in 1:09.01 while winning his racing debut at Hollywood Park and earned a 12-length victory in an allowance race at Saratoga Race Course in his second career start.

A career earner of $517,700, The Daddy is a half brother to Grade 2 winner With a City.

Why was he retired? I assume he was injured. What kind of injury did he sustain? Anyone know?

A nagging splint, according to the article.
