Yeah, has his pulled butt muscle healed yet or are we awaiting the ten page spread in the Bloodhorse trumpeting his value as a stallion?

Boy, who spiked my punch with sarcasm tonight?

From the gossip I heard, the "if ever" will be "never." Of course, they'd have to get him in a gate first. And this is a task never previously accomplished with the colt.

I was wondering about him myself. Does he have any published works, etc?

Yeah, he's had quite a few published works since they got him, as well as several rests for various and sundry problems. But, there's not a gate work in the bunch. His most recent works were on the 3rd, 9th, 15th and 30th of Oct. Nothing since.

It's in the DRF online today that The Grren Monkey has been turned out and won't race as a 2yo. Apparently he reinjured his gluteal muscle.

This one is a pretty costly investment to turn unraced, for stallions duty.
What will the ad tells????
An injury kept him away???
I,d always written this is impossible with his
action, the way of hitting the ground with his motion.
A good one for the new artificial tracks in the future.
But maybe I am wrong, and too early with my thoughts

I think it is interesting that his named injury is pretty far away from the legs and the heart. Far better for his future stud career, surely. Hmmm.

Anyone ever heard of such a problematic glut muscle injury? I have not, but I'm always willing to learn something new.

If he doesn't race what would people on the board be willing to pay as a stud fee for his services. Without a race record, his pedigree doesn't really interest me very much and consequently I couldn't justify spending more than about $1500. His purchase price as a 2yo in training really doesn't affect how I look at a stallion. What do people think they'll be able to get for a stud fee (not ask for but actually get) if they retire him unraced.

They are "calling" it a ass injury. Doesn't mean that it is an ass injury.
Not calling anyone a liar, let me be clear on that. But how many times have we known horses that retire or die and it shows in the form or other publication as something that wasn't even close to real. But it's simpler than the truth sometimes for whatever the reason.
Either way, him being an unraced two year old is hardly the end of the world.
