New stallions in Pennsylvannia
Has anyone heard of any new stallions coming to Pennsylvannia for 2009 besides Medallist? Rumors are that Walmac might be sending someone new to Regal Heir.......
Medallist is definitely coming to Pennsylvania for the 2009 season. That was part of the agreement when Three Chimneys sent him to Northview, that he would eventually stand in Pa. Trouble is that Northview isn't quite finished with their Pa. farm, so when exactly he will come is uncertain. The rumors about Walmac sending another stallion to Regal Heir are true, but they don't know who it is yet.
Haven't heard any other news about new Pa. stallions, but there will be some, that's for sure.

Walmac Farm just sent me an e-mail stating that they are also going to stand One Great Cat (Storm Cat-Blissful-Mr. Prospector) in Pennsylvania. One Great Cat was a winner of 2 of 9 races in Europe for trainer Aidan O'Brien, all of which were ran on the turf. His graded efforts included two third place finishes; a 7th out of 7; and an 18th out of 19.
